Star Trek: Unproduced Stories That Were Never Filmed

Star Trek: The Beginning

Star Trek The Beginning Featuring characters new to the Star Trek Universe and set during the Earth-Romulan War, this movie would have been the 11th Star Trek film, the first of a planned trilogy and bridged the gap between Star Trek: Enterprise and TOS. The story would have focused on Tiberius Chase who may have been revealed as an ancestor of Captain Kirk. The Chase Family€™s affiliation with anti-alien groups would have to be overcome as he looked to be accepted into Star Fleet on the eve of a massive Romulan attack on Earth. Erik Jendresen, writer of HBO€™s Band of Brothers penned the script which also featured appearances by Spock€™s grandfather and Jeffrey Comb€˜s Andorian character Shran from Star Trek: Enterprise. This film was killed following €œregime change,€ at Paramount.
