Star Trek: Unproduced Stories That Were Never Filmed

Star Trek: Federation

Star Trek Federation In this pitch for a series that would have been produced by Bryan Singer (X Men, Superman Returns), the fall and rise of the United Federation of Planets would have been the setting for a new Kirk, a new Enterprise and crew. In an era where the Federation is in decline, the Ferengi are the dominant Superpower and Vulcan has left the Federation to reunify with the Romulans, The Enterprise would be tasked with recapturing the spirit of the Federation€™s glory days. Writer Christopher McQuarrie and producer Robert Meyer Burnett€™s 25 page proposal was scrapped without being submitted to Paramount after the announcement of JJ Abram€™s reboot film. Conclusion After 47 years, Star Trek continues to entertain, excite and inspire fans around the world. For every story that made the cut, there are those that ended up for whatever reason, trapped on the page or in the imagination of the writers. In some cases, the fans have been cheated of great stories, innovative concepts and performances by beloved actors. Others, luckily never saw the light of day! Here€™s to another 47 years of Star Trek!
