With their first live action Star Wars series, Disney+ sure came out swinging with The Mandalorian. The multiple Emmy Award winning series captured fans' imaginations with the adventures of Din Djarin, who doesn't get a name until the end of the first season. Until then, he's just Mando.

A proficient bounty hunter and member of The Tribe on Nevarro, Mando takes a job that brings him in contact with The Child. While little is known about him, The Child is a Force sensitive infant from the same mysterious species as Yoda. Mando embarks on a mission to protect The Child from anyone and everything.

Throughout the first season, Mando proved himself to be a talented and capable warrior, one willing to fight almost any fight. Still relatively new to the Star Wars world, Djarin has already established himself as a key player.

It also doesn't hurt that the series explores a time period after the fall of the Empire not often discussed, and The Child is crazy adorable.
