Star Wars Rebels Season 3: 10 Most Anticipated Moments

Since almost anyone in Rogue One could and indeed did bite the dust, we got some slightly more competent Stormtroopers. Both rank-and-file ones who finally realised that grenades could be useful, and the elite Death Troopers who could actually shoot straight.

So in yet another attempt at tying the TV series and movies together; the Death Troopers are back, this time guarding Grand Admiral Thrawn. But since Death Troopers are assigned to the highest ranking Imperials and deployed sparingly, it looks like it won’t be until the end of the season before they arrive on the scene and start shooting up the place.

While the Death Troopers won't be filling any of the main cast full of holes this time, the other Rebels are completely fair game. Basically, if you don’t appear in the movies then it’s not looking good for you. And if you go up against these guys and don’t have a name or a unique character model, you’re definitely not coming back.
