Star Wars Rebels Season 3: 10 Most Anticipated Moments

Since Rebels’ focus has been on guerrilla strikes against the Empire and a lot of ships get destroyed as fast as they can be supplied, large battleships are rarely seen in the possession of the good guys. But all that’s about to change since one of the ships amongst the Rebel fleet bears more than a passing resemblance to Home One, Admiral Ackbar’s flagship from Return Of The Jedi.

The inclusion of the fish-headed one’s ship is not only a good way of bridging the gap between TV and movies, but also showing the growth of the Rebellion since it’s basically the largest ship in the fleet. Not that that did any good for the one that got blown up by the Death Star above Endor of course.

And since Home One is Admiral Ackbar’s turf, another interesting possibility is that it looks like he might be cropping up at some point. But at the same time, Home One isn’t a unique ship design so keep the possibility in mind that it’s a trap! Yes, that was a forced reference and no I don’t regret it in the slightest.
