Star Wars Rebels Season 4: 13 Questions That Must Be Answered

If you cast your minds back to Season One, in the penultimate episode Rebels Resolve, the Ghost learns that Kanan has been taken to Tarkin’s Star Destroyer orbiting the volcanic planet of Mustafar. Hera recalls something that Kanan once told her about the planet, that Mustafar was where Jedi go to die.

At the time, this could have been a mild reference to Revenge of the Sith, when Anakin Skywalker died and Darth Vader was born. But then Rogue One came along, and now it has far more significance.

In an episode of Rebels Recon, Story Group’s Pablo Hidago confirmed as much, stating that the line said by Hera was actually a reference to Vader’s castle. It just so happened that the show was unable to move further towards it because of its inclusion in Rogue One. Now that that is no longer a problem, will Rebels’ feature an episode back on Mustafar?

It would be a great way to bring Vader back to the show for its final outing and we may even learn more about the hooded figure who many have theorised to be Supreme Leader Snoke (it can’t be that obvious though… can it?)

Featuring Vader’s Castle be an awesome set piece for the show, and could perhaps feature as part of Kanan and Ezra’s concluding storyline, but if, or indeed how it would fit into one of the episodes remains a mystery for now, all we can do is wait.
