Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Trailer Breakdown: 16 Things You Need To See

In the Season Three finale, Zero Hour, Kallus had been exposed as the Rebel agent, Fulcrum and was rescued by the Ghost during their escape from Chopper Base. On board, Kallus and Kanan shared a touching moment that summed up the incredible arc that the character has gone through, starting off as their sworn enemy, coming full circle to devoted ally.

Having Kallus as an official member of the Rebel Alliance will see another shift in his character, as rather than being an elusive agent undercover, he can use his knowledge of the Empire to help aid the Rebellion in every way he can. In the Season Four trailer we see that he has now fittingly thrown away his Imperial garments and gone for a very different look. He now looks right at home.

That doesn’t mean that Kallus is safe for the rest of the season. Many thought that when Thrawn exposed him as Fulcrum, this would spell the end for the character, and while that hasn’t happened yet, his fate is yet unclear. It’s going to be interesting to see Kallus taking on his former comrades in battle; not just the Stormtroopers, but the Imperial commanders. Governor Pryce is still out there and enraged by his betrayal, and let’s not forget that Admiral Yularen had a soft spot for the ISB agent when he was in training. With Kallus officially in the Rebel camp, there are some interesting dynamics that can be explored in the upcoming and final season.
