Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
5. Season Two
With season two came a whole new tone and narrative approach to The Clone Wars. Like season one, it was still setting up the bigger things to come, putting characters on the table and raising the stakes.
This season had the Second Battle of Geonosis, which was every bit as epic as it sounds. Every character is pushed to their limits, more Jedi are given time to shine, and bounty hunters such as Cad Bane and Aurra Sing are explored in much more detail, breaking the trend of the movies to tease the franchise's coolest assassins only to give them nothing to do.
Other episodes, such as the Zillo Beast arc, allow the mythos of Star Wars to expand more than ever, and Ahsoka gets time to grow and learn during the aforementioned battle and the day in which she has her lightsaber stolen.
It can't rank any higher simply because it's still setting things up, but season two is nonetheless where the show really began to show its potential.
Best Episodes: The Zillo Beast, Bounty Hunters, The Mandalore Plot, Lightsaber Lost
