Stargate: 10 Best Aliens In One Episode Only

9. Gadmeer/Enkarans

Stargate Alien Enkaran
MGM

Scorched Earth appears in Stargate SG-1's fourth season. The Gadmeer are a species with a very specific set of needs in terms of their environment, so to that end they have a giant ship which is beginning to terraform a planet. Unluckily for them, the Enkarans have just been relocated to the planet by the SGC - and will be destroyed by the process.

This is one of those times where talking manages to satisfy all sides. The Enkarans do not want to move worlds again. They can't return to Earth, as the UV radiation from Earth's sun is fatal to them. There are too many of them to move in the time window allotted as well.

The Gadmeer, represented by the AI life form Lotan, are similarly stuck, as their resources are limited and they need to implant on the planet or face extinction. However, a compromise is met - the Gadmeer vessel will transport the Enkarans to another world that was deemed unsuitable for Gadmeer colonisation.

This episode is light with a happy ending - one of the trademarks of SG-1!
