Stargate Atlantis Cast: Where Are They Now?

12. David Nykl

Stargate Atlantis Radek
MGM

David Nykl is a Canadian-Czech actor who, surprisingly, does not speak with his distinctive accent that he was well known for on Stargate Atlantis. He is however an accomplished linguist, fluent in English, Czech, Spanish and French.

As Dr. Radek Zelenka, he was the much more affable scientist associated with the Atlantis expedition, most often acting as a foil for Rodney. He was equally smart, but his consideration for other peoples' feelings would sometimes leave him in Rodney's shadow.

That said, he was an integral part of the show, with his role growing larger as the seasons went on. While he was never in the main credits, he was as much a lead as anyone else by the end.

After the show wrapped, he moved over onto the CW's Arrow, where he played Anatoly Knyazev. Like many other Stargate alumni, he also appeared in Supernatural.
