Stargate: Every System Lord Ranked Worst To Best

21. Svarog

Stargate SG1 Svarog

Svarog was one of the System Lords present at the summit that voted to allow Anubis to rejoin the council. He didn't speak, and little is known of him. It can be assumed that he was powerful enough to warrant a place as a System Lord, yet it seems as though he was one of the unlucky ones.

He attempted to annex Latona. Latona had been one of the worlds that the NID had stolen technology from, thereby rendering The Sentinel, the planetary defense system, useless.

SG-1, along with Colonel Sean Grieves, return to Latona and set about repairing the system. Svarog, in orbit, begins to attack the various cities on Latona. However, Grieves sacrifices himself to get the Sentinel working again, which causes Svarog's Ha'tak to vanish. As this is the last time that SG-1 encounter Svarog, it was assumed that he was killed.
