Stargate: Every Villain Ranked Worst To Best

15. Lucian Alliance

The Ori Stargate
MGM

A group that was introduced in the last two seasons of Stargate SG-1, the Lucian Alliance started off life as a group of pirates, smugglers and general low-life criminals. They banded together after the fall of the Goa'uld Empire and started to wear uniforms (for some reason). The Alliance then set about organising schemes like addicting people to multi-coloured sweetcorn and setting up protection rackets around vulnerable worlds.

They inherited a host of Goa'uld ships and weapons and posed something of a side-threat for SG-1, occasionally cropping up when they tried to sell some more evil sweetcorn. SG-1 eventually turned some tables on them, sending a group of bounty hunters that had been hired by the Alliance back at them, to take out Netan, the group's leader.

The Alliance reappeared in Stargate Universe and were the only real antagonist to carry over between the previous era of shows into the new one. Here, their motivations were utterly unclear as they tried to take over Destiny and launch an attack Earth.

Ultimately, a muddled villainous faction that nobody was really sure what to do with.

Still bitter that Star Trek Enterprise got canned and almost old enough to angrily tell the kids to 'Get Off My Lawn!'
