Stephen King's best-selling 2011 novel 11/22/63 has received the TV treatment (executive produced by one JJ Abrams) as one of US streaming site Hulu's fresh batch of original programming, and there's an atmospheric teaser online for your enjoyment - check it out below. The story centres around a high school history teacher played by James Franco who goes back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy; standing in his way are Lee Harvey Oswald and time itself, which doesn't take kindly to being messed around. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QIShmtBdto While it's probably too soon to tell, the teaser looks great. The stakes are obvious and the proceedings look nice and intense, from Chris Cooper's wise-mentor voiceover to the creepy "You shouldn't be here" line at the end. James Franco also has to be one of the busiest guys in Hollywood, between teaching, directing and ten films listed on his IMDB page for 2016 alone, it's a wonder he found the time to do this. More to the point, if he decided that it was worth taking the time out of his busy schedule to make this show, then it must be a pretty damn good show. At present Hulu is only available to stream from in the US (and Japan, apparently), but that could change with their foray into the original programming market - rubbing shoulders with the likes of Netflix and Amazon will be harder if they cut themselves off from a global audience. 11.12.63 is released on Hulu on 15 February 2016
