Stranger Things: 15 Stupid Mistakes You Completely Missed

3. The Hospital Ward Of Dead Bodies

A minor mistake that creates a massive plot hole, the dead bodies that littered that darkened ward of the Hawkins Memorial Hospital in the third season were never referenced again after the gang escaped from the mini Mind Flayer that caused the damage.

Throughout its physical run in Season 3, the Mind Flayer claimed a lot of victims as it essentially enveloped them in itself and the-powers-that-be at Hawkins managed to explain their deaths away in the fire at the Starcourt Mall (even tough they were probably missing for days before that?). But what about the people that it violently murdered in the hospital?

The subsequent reports about Hawkins' unusual activity never made reference to it, the July 4 festival wasn't cancelled and no relatives ever came looking for their deceased loved ones. Now, it's highly likely that the hospital victims weren't supposed to be at the Mall, so their deaths were never explained away - and as this obviously doesn't make sense, it seems like the creative team genuinely forgot about them.

It's actually pretty easy to overlook this one, and chances are that you did in the first watch, but once you notice it, you can't unsee it.
