Season 3 really kicks into gear when the kids face off against Billy in the sauna as they attempt to recreate the effective method that expelled the Mind Flayer from Will's body in the previous outing - and that's to overheat the vessel.
During the scene, Eleven uses her powers to restrain Max's possessed brother and, much like every other time she uses them, a little blood begins to trickle from her nose. What makes this one stand out for all the wrong reasons is the fact that it cuts away from her for less than five seconds, before cutting back to her - at which point the blood is gone.
While it's always possible that she could have wiped it away during those five seconds, she seems as unphased as she was in the first shot and there isn't so much as a smudge or a stain to suggest that she did so. No, this was likely just a shot from another take in which they either didn't use the blood or it hadn't yet started to trickle from her nose (it does look like it's having trouble running down her face like it usually does).
