Stranger Things 3: 11 Best Chief Hopper Moments Of The Season
5. Funhouse Chase
It wouldn't be Stranger Things without a few Hopper-centric setpieces and boy, oh boy, does this season deliver them. But one setpiece in-particular manages to stand heads-and-shoulders above the rest; the funhouse chase.
Taking place during the mayor's Fourth of July Fun Fair, Hopper is spotted by a handful of Russian mercenaries. To escape, he leads them into the funhouse separating them. From there, he proceeds to strategically and brutally take them all out.
From the Duffers' stellar direction work, to Harbour's incredible physicality, to the striking cinematography, to the cleverly staged choreography, this sequence is all-around spectacular. It's Hopper at his absolute best, using a combination of brain and brawn to outsmart the Russians and ultimately defeat them.
Also, it features him bludgeoning a man into unconsciousness with a punching bag. What more could one possibly want?
