5. Dustin Henderson
Stranger Things can be a pretty dark show. From young boys being kidnapped by Lovecraftian horrors from another dimension to more down to earth evils like child abuse, this show isn’t always easy viewing. So thank god that we have Dustin Henderson around to remind us that we need to just take a break and laugh sometimes. Dustin is the clown of the group, always ready to crack a joke to cheer his friends up when they need it.
In both seasons two and three, his relationship with Steve Harrington is second to none. In the same way that Dustin provides comfort to his friends, Steven provides advice to Dustin and helps him to be the best version of himself possible.
He’s also a dab hand at inventions, coming back from summer camp with amazing inventions like a homemade ham radio which he can use to communicate his new girlfriend, Suzy. It’s a shame that none of his friends really appreciate these inventions that much but don’t worry Dustin, we do.
