Stranger Things Season 2: 10 Best Moments

6. The Snow Ball (Chapter 9)

Stranger Things Dustin Nancy
Netflix

The season concludes with the Christmas Snow Ball, which while relatively cheesy in its earnestness, nevertheless works because the show's central characters are so easy to like and root for.

For starters, Dustin coifs his hair with some Farrah Fawcett hair spray (as recommended to him by Steve), and though he has to deal with the object of his affection, Max, hooking up with Lucas, he eventually ends up dancing with Nancy, who notices him being rejected by several other young ladies.

The kids all pair off into their couples, and the episode ends with The Police's "Every Breath You Take" playing out, just as Eleven arrives at the prom and dances with Mike. It's a sweet, goofy scene which brings the characters some much-needed levity.
