Stranger Things Season 2: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best

4. Steve Harrington

Steve may not be the MVP of Stranger Things 2, but he is the most improved player. The character admittedly started this journey late in Season 1, but he was mostly just the jerk boyfriend stereotype, if one who happened to fight a monster using a baseball bat with nails.

This time around, though, the show makes him infinitely more likeable and adds depth to the character too. He's actually a considerate boyfriend who you come to feel sorry for, and steals the show in the last few episodes as he becomes an older brother to the other kids. It's a remarkable transformation, and his bond with Dustin is as funny and sweet as it is surprising.
