7. Who Is The Gunman?
Alongside all the supernatural threats that will undoubtedly run wild on the show, the trailer also set aside a little time to introduce us to one of the season's secondary antagonists.
In the midst of the fun fair, there is a brief glimpse of a rather large, intimidating man doing his best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression as he expertly navigated his way through a hall of mirrors while brandishing a firearm. That same assailant returns at a later point in the trailer when he is seen firing a different weapon like his life depended on it (maybe it does).
There are also shots of Chief Hopper utilising his own gun at the fun fair, so it seems like the two men will end up facing off at some point. But just who is this gun-toting individual and why on earth would he want to shoot up a fun fair?
Perhaps he knows about Eleven's abilities and is terrified of that she might re-open the gate to the Upside Down, or maybe he works for someone who wants to procure the psychokinetic abilities for themselves. Either way, it's all about to get very Terminator in Hawkins.
