Stranger Things Season 3 Review: 6 Ups & 6 Downs

4. Erica Basically Steals The Show

Lucas' (Caleb McLaughlin) sister Erica (Priah Ferguson) returns this season, and there's a solid argument to be made that she gives the most entertaining performance among the entire cast.

Erica gets a much larger role this time around, even more significant than her screen brother, resulting in her delivering many of the season's best one-liners while also getting stuck in with the central monster plot.

Her brilliantly sassy put-downs represent the season's wittiest dialogue, but without Ferguson's knowing delivery, none of it would land with quite the same impact.

Props to the Duffers for appreciating her potential and absolutely building on it this season, all while making her more than the obnoxious sister archetype: she's actually a relatable human being to boot.
