Stranger Things Season 3 Trailer Reactions: 8 Ups & 2 Downs

1. Cary Elwes & Jake Busey Join The Cast

The trailer also briefly shows off the two major new additions to the cast: The Princess Bride's Cary Elwes will star as the corrupt Mayor Kline, who oversaw the construction of the new Starcourt Mall and will inevitably serve as the season's human big bad.

Then there's Jake Busey (son of Gary), who will play a journalist for The Hawkins Post currently known only as Bruce.

He's said to have "questionable morals and a sick sense of humour", and from the fleeting, sweaty glimpse of him we get in the trailer, he certainly doesn't look like the most upstanding member of the press.

Whether he'll be a secondary antagonist or pull a Bob Newby (Sean Astin) and win us over in the end, it's great to see Jake joining the roster. Fingers crossed for a quick cameo from his dad, too.
