Netflix promised that Volume 2 would deliver an epic conclusion to season four, and they certainly weren't lying.

Without going into too much detail, Volume 2 boasts some of the most mesmeric and downright thrilling action beats that Stranger Things has ever come up with.

If you thought seeing Eleven flip a van was something, just wait and see what she does to another type of vehicle here.

Elsewhere there's a magnificent set-piece involving Eddie and a guitar that's sure to turn a lot of younger viewers onto a certain classic heavy metal banger, and the inevitable showdown with Vecna more than lives up to the substantial hype.

Stranger Things has never been explicitly about action, but after so many hours of build-up in Volume 1, it's safe to say that the Duffers let loose with their most ambitious high-wire thrills to date.
