10. Up - Sisterly Love
The relationship between Kara and Alex - sisters from different planets - was introduced last week, and it's expanded in this episode to great success. Firstly, in the DEO facility, there's Alex teaching Kara a thing or two about surviving against the villains she's going to have to face. It was a surprising moment when she sucker-punched her sister, and even more so when the room was revealed to contain Kryptonite. The human beating the superhero was a nice twist on things. There was more development for Alex later on, sharing some strong scenes with Kara and kicking ass on her own as well, and the two work really well together on screen, while Alex is becoming one of the strongest characters in her own right as well.
