Supergirl Season 1: 10 Big Questions From 'For The Girl Who Has Everything'

9. Why Not Call Superman?

With seemingly no way of being able to get the Black Mercy off Kara without killing her, Alex, Hank, Winn and James are desperately looking to do anything to help Supergirl. Hell, they even end up turning to the maniacal Maxwell Lord for assistance! So, given the severity of the situation, wouldn€™t this have been the perfect time to call Superman for some help? After all, James has a direct line to the Man of Steel. When the show got started, it seemed Supergirl couldn€™t help but constantly trip over the ominous cape of the Last Son of Krypton, but now, when Kara is at risk of dying, why not just fire Kal-El a quick text message? Hell, the Big Blue Boy Scout seems to constantly be on online messaging services, so just send him a short MSN message?
