Supergirl Season 4: 5 Ups & 1 Down From 'All About Eve'

The episode's closing moments were undoubtedly its most shocking.

In the wake of the Alien Amnesty Act's repeal, a ton of White House officials were all gathered in the Oval Office, completely unaware of what was coming. In that moment, the Harun-El-born doppelganger of Supergirl crashed through the roof, dressed as the Girl of Steel, and unleashed her heat vision on everyone and everything in her path.

Of course, this was all orchestrated by Lex in a bid to turn the people of Earth against Supergirl and, in doing so, turn Ben Lockwood into an even greater hero of the people. Not only did his plan work, it resulted in the President invoking Martial Law and formally declaring Supergirl as Public Enemy No. 1.

Supergirl has spent the past four years proving that she is not only Earth's greatest hero, but its champion. With the people now turning against her for an act that she did not commit and the Red Daughter directly in her crosshairs, things have gotten a lot more interesting. Throw in the fact that Agent Liberty has absolutely no idea that he's merely a pawn in Lex Luthor's grand plan, and we could be set for an incredibly compelling final stretch of the season.

Now, for the negative...
