1. A Strong Opening

Five years in the making, but did Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part One live up to expectations? An installment that was very much concerned with table-setting, it shifted gears and pulled all the necessary strings in order to make the Crisis feasibly begin. While that resulted in a number of logical flaws, it did indeed successfully pull it off, ensuring that the Crisis opened on a strong note.

With a lot of well-explained mythology and a beautiful final battle to bring an end to the first act, it felt believably bigger than most Arrowverse adventures as it exhibited a larger-than-life quality that wouldn't have been out of place on the big screen. And that heartbreaking ending has prepared fans for an event that shouldn't be taken lightly while also reminding us that anything can happen in the Arrowverse (yes, anything).

So far, so great for the Crisis.
