Oh Kevin, the sweet little Prophet of the Lord with a soul too pure for this wicked world. Introduced at the end of Season Seven, Kevin Tran was a high-achieving, but otherwise ordinary high school student, until he was struck by a divine bolt of lightning and activated as a prophet. From there his life was all but over as he was thrown into a world of Leviathans, demons and ancient tablets.

As with all prophets, he possessed the ability to read the Word of God and so spent a lot of time being grabbed and shuffled around by bad guys. During the course of which, not only was he endlessly tortured, but his girlfriend was possessed and killed and his badass mother was also kidnapped and tortured. All of which led to him being killed by an angel, only to be left lingering as a ghost before being sent to Heaven by God personally... Only for it to be later revealed that he'd actually been sent to Hell, before ending up as an Earthbound spirit once more. Yikes!

Despite all of his hardship and suffering though, Kevin never wavered in his duty and dedication to fighting the good fight. If anything, it only served to strengthen his resolve in the war against evil, as he constantly used his cunning, intelligence and resourcefulness to outwit his tormentors and find ways to work against them. He endured so much for someone so young, but he accomplished even more. He definitely deserved better.
