Supernatural: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode

The town of Greybull, Wyoming, is the focus of the season 4 episode Death Takes a Holiday. Apparently, no one can die in this little town. You would think that people not dying is a good thing, but in the Supernatural universe that's a big no. All men must die.

Jim Jenkins is one of several Greybull residents to survive certain death. A young man shoots him in the chest while he's leaving a bar with his friend. The bullet penetrates into his heart but Jenkins’ ticker refuses to call it a day and go into early retirement as any normal heart would.

This miracle catches the attention of the Winchesters who visit the town disguised as bloggers seeking to document the so-called miracle. After some investigating, Sam and Dean discover that an escaped demon from hell, Alastair, has kidnapped the town’s reaper. The absence of a reaper means the residents of Greybull can’t die.

To solve this problem, the Winchesters defeat Alastair, send him back to hell, and bring a new reaper into the town. She starts by taking the lives of those who survived when they shouldn’t have. Poor Jim.
