Supernatural: 10 Most Hated Episodes

1. Carry On (Season 15, Episode 20)

When you have a show as popular and beloved as Supernatural, with 15 years of running and a plethora of dedicated fans, you know your series finale has to deliver and deliver well. Unfortunately, the only thing the Supernatural series finale seemed to deliver was disappointment in its highest form.

Everything about this series finale is shockingly bad. It's as if the writers had taken fifteen years of character development and completely threw it out the window. This episode is not only an insult to the show's characters, it's an insult to the show's fans, especially those who stuck with it for most or all of its 15 years.

This was it? This was what 15 years of the show ended with? Supernatural was a show that featured such amazing episodes like Swan Song, Changing Channels, and The French Mistake. During its prime, this show had amazing seasons with epic finales that had us on the edge of our seats waiting impatiently for the next season. Granted, it was getting harder and harder to remember that the more Supernatural went on, but for such a once well-written show, it deserved a much better finale. Instead, we got everything that turned Supernatural terrible: unnecessary deaths just for shock factor and boring, underwhelming, and lazy writing.

The fans deserved a better finale. The characters deserved a better finale. The cast deserved a better finale. Carry On is a terrible, terrible ending to what used to be a great show.

Writer, visual designer, and The Simpsons fan. Still hasn't finished Super Mario Bros. 3 and probably never will. Rocks at board games, though.
