Supernatural: 10 Most Hated Episodes

5. Bitten (Season 8, Episode 4)

Supernatural Bugs
The CW

It makes sense for a show that's run as long as Supernatural to try something different every now and then, especially since Supernatural has already tried doing the "found footage" style in their earlier Ghostfacers episodes. However, Bitten misses the mark completely when it comes to the found footage genre, giving us an episode not scary or engaging but instead annoying and gimmicky.

The episode also featured characters that are hard to care about played by actors that are just so awful to watch. Why so many of the worst episodes of Supernatural feature such painful-to-watch overacting is beyond us, but boy, were the young actors in this episode some of the worst cast members of the show. Maybe the showrunners thought they could get away with it with the "found footage" gimmick of the episode, but really, the gimmick only made the episode worse.

Plenty of scenes are downright unrealistic at times, with camera angles that don't make sense, moments that are conveniently filmed, and the zooming in of cameras being able to amplify the sound. The shaky camera also makes for a headache-inducing experience. It's a boring filler episode that will literally give you a headache.
