Supernatural 9.1, "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" - Review & Recap

Screen Shot 2013 10 10 At 4 51 06 Pm Hospital. Angels arrive and Dean goes out to face them while Helo tries to heal Sam. I perhaps miss the dramatic intent of the scene as I observe how great Jensen Ackles' hair looks in this episode. Car. Hale has kidnapped Castiel and is set on taking him on a literal guilt trip to the Grand Canyon, proposing that they "become one." Destiel shippers gasp in horror before she clarifies that she wishes to possess him and his stronger vessel. Castiel does not seem amenable to this plan. Hospital. Dean is thrown around by an angel. Accustomed this by now, Dean files the encounter away to throw at Castiel the next time that they have a fight. Coma Sam. Imaginary Dean is so pissed off at Dead Bobby's attempts to woo Sam to the afterlife that he stabs Dead Bobby in the back with a giant knife. Ah, family. Dean is too late, however; Sam is now totally on the pro-death side of the equation. Imaginary Dean takes the news very well, choosing to respect Sammy's decision by beating the crap out of him. At least Imaginary Dean is in character.
