Supernatural: Every Major Villain Ranked Worst To Best

As a refreshing departure from the typical angels and demons of the show, Rowena brought something new to the table.

Supernatural often tackled a lot of biblical themes and entities so it was refreshing to see a villain vastly different from the others. She was still connected to the show's typical heaven and hell skirmish by having her as the mother of Crowley.

Not only was her story exciting and engaging, but Ruth Connell also did a great job of conveying the character's wit, charm, and at times malevolence.

Rowena started off as an exceptional villain before inevitably joining the Winchester brothers. Her loyalty was always in question, however, as she seemed to back the most powerful party as a form of self-preservation.

Her long run in the show is sadly put to an end when she sacrifices her life to drag demons back into hell along with her.
