Swamp Thing TV Show: 8 Things You Need To Know

4. There's MAJOR Crossover Potential

Swamp Thing being on the DC Universe streaming service allows for crossovers with the other live action shows, but in the vast history of the character, the compost heap of a creature has teamed up with many DC heroes too.

The most fan favorite crossover would be the fact that it was in the Swamp Thing series that John "Dabbler of the Dark Arts" Constantine made his debut, using the green heap to help thwart an evil death cult. With that in mind, a Matt Ryan cameo can't be ruled out - at least not yet.

Swamp Thing also acts as a prominent member of the mystic side of the DCU so bringing in characters like Detective Chimp, Zatanna, or Deadman would be a boon. Being the avatar for the Green also puts him onto a similar playing field as the Phantom Stranger or the Spectre on numerous occasions.

While unlikely, the Swamp Thing has teamed-up and even fought DC's Trinity a few times. Wonder Woman, having an anchor to the mystic already has the least amount of contact, and as the world needs to always be reminded, Batman helped with Swampy's sex life with Abby, justifying that since he's sentient and humanoid, it's not that different than any time Superman or Martian Manhunter had human mates.

Point being, there's plenty of cameo potential, so expect to see other DC characters appear at some point or another.
