7. Deucalion
Deucalion (Gideon Emery) stands as one of Teen Wolf's most powerful characters. The leader of an entire Alpha pack, he emerged on the show during season three, trying to make his all-star team of killers even stronger by adding the likes of Derek and Scott (Tyler Posey) to his fold.
A demon wolf, he is first portrayed as pure evil - willing to kill everything and everyone who gets in the way of what he wants. But as the season progresses, his past slowly comes to light, showing the formidable killing machine to be a peace-loving werewolf whose faith in the world was shattered by a violent betrayal.
Following his defeat, he was exiled by Scott, but eventually returned to Beacon Hills to help his old adversary take on a slew of new threats, including Theo and the Hunters.
His death marked the end of a fantastic and genuinely affecting storyline, and perfectly highlights just how good the show can be when it comes to redeeming old villains.
