5. Scott McCall (Tyler Posey)
The main character of any major TV show often runs the risk of falling flat and being overshadowed by his supporting cast, and whilst Scott is no exception to this rule, there's no denying that even with the strong personalities around him he was a massively compelling character, brought to life brilliantly by Tyler Posey.
Being the titular Teen Wolf, this is Scott's story. It starts with him being bitten and becoming a ferocious werewolf, unable to control his newfound powers, and ends with him being the alpha of a large and united pack who would all happily die for one another.
He made mistakes, misjudged people, and often rushed into things - but with his heart always in the right place, it's hard to be mad at him. No matter the situation, he was always willing to lay down his life for his friends and the innocent lives of Beacon Hills. Even as his world grew more insane around him, he was always ready to face it, and watching him grow from scared, unsure teen to trustworthy and wise leader was arguably the show's biggest success.
And who could ever forget his relationships with Stiles, Allison and Kira? Pure, unadulterated joy.
