Season One Recap
-- Scott is bitten by a rogue werewolf when exploring the forest with his best friend Stiles and soon undergoes a transformation, becoming a full werewolf. At the same time, he begins a relationship with new girl Allison who is secretly the latest generation in a line of hunters. -- Derek returns to the town to search out his sister Laura and finds her mutilated body in the woods, the victim of a horrific murder. He enlists the help of Scott to help solve her murder and an increasing spate of them, in exchange for helping Scott control his abilities. - Meanwhile Allison's aunt Kate returns to the town and it's revealed that she's the one who burnt the Hale family to death, her cruel and manipulative nature manifesting in her seduction of a sixteen-year-old Derek so that she could gain access to the home. -- Scott and Stiles discover an Alpha werewolf - the head of a werewolf pack - is hunting people down and after wrongly suspecting Dr Deaton (a veternarian aware of the supernatural who soon after helps Scott, Stiles and Derek), soon find themselves and their friends targeted, some such as Jackson learning of werewolves. -- Derek's comatose uncle Peter is revealed to be the Alpha, having secretly recovered and killed Laura to take back the 'alpha' status she possessed. Peter attempts to get both Scott - who was turned by Peter - and Stiles to join his pack, but to no avail, and soon forces Scott to almost attack people under duress and attacks Lydia, biting her and leaving her for dead. -- With Allison and Scott broken up, Allison learns the truth about everything but chooses to align herself with Scott after watching Kate's cruelty. Her brother, Allison's father Chris, agrees with his daughter. -- In the finale, Kate is killed by Peter in revenge for killing his family and soon after Peter is killed by Derek for revenge for Laura's death and to take the spot of Alpha for himself, trapping Scott as a werewolf forever. Jackson soon demands the bite from Derek who bites him.
