6. Jaime And Tyrion Say Goodbye
While some may question the words of Jaime in this scene in regards to his character, there’s no denying that the goodbye between the two brothers doesn’t break a heart in two.
The audience knows this is going to be the last time these two see each other as much as they do, and as Tyrion pours his heart out to his beloved brother, it’s impossible not to have all eight seasons of this relationship flash before your eyes.
When Tyrion struggles to keep his composure as Jaime stares him straight in the eyes with his own starting to glaze over, the long embrace of brotherly affection before Tyrion hurries out of the tent leaves the most bittersweet impact on a viewer.
They know that either brother – or perhaps both – are about to march to their deaths, and yet they manage to reconcile seasons of differences and branching paths in one final show of affection before stoically having to walk away from it all.
