The Big Bang Theory: 10 Best Characters Who Only Appeared In One Episode
7. Alice (Courtney Ford)
Episode: "The Good Guy Fluctuation" (Season 5, Episode 7)
While Leonard's girlfriend is away, he is very much tempted to "play" with an attractive artist named Alice (Courtney Ford) who he meets at the comic book store.
Although Alice only appeared once, she should always be remembered as the one who proved that not all nerds are awkward! Her character radiates confidence and charisma while also having a nerdish obsession with comic books. Unlike many of the stereotypical characters who've popped up on this show, Alice feels like a cool and multi-layered human being who accidentally stumbled onto the Big Bang Theory set and flirted with Leonard. Credit for this belongs to the writers and Courtney Ford's effortless acting.
Also worth mentioning is that Alice never comes across as unlikable, even though she's tempting Leonard away from his serious girlfriend. Alice immediately calls things off and throws Leonard out when she finds out he's taken. It's a shame that Leonard didn't continue the ruse for more episodes, as Alice definitely deserved more time on screen!
