5. A Single Amy Would Give Some Great New Gags
Weve seen Amys desire appear in multiple episodes; she grew infatuated with one of Pennys ex lovers, and the joke over her sexual frustration has reached boiling point. Imagine if these frustrations and desires were outsourced, and we saw her trying to pick up a guy in a bar. Amy has developed social skills during her time with Sheldon, and we would see her try to test these skills in the real world. This would be a refreshing change for a show which so far has focused on a small and tight nit group of friends. This does not mean that she should become a female equivalent of Barney Stinson, but it does mean that occasionally on a girls night out, she could seek out a man and attempt to chat them up; how can that not be funny?
