The Big Bang Theory: 5 Never Before Seen Plotlines Chuck Lorre Must Explore Next

4. The Future Of "Shamey"

Shamy Sheldon and Amy, or "Shamey" as they are collectively dubbed by their peers, appear to be heading toward a more serious level of their awkward relationship. In the same episode that Leonard tells Penny he won't propose to her, the unlikely duo's relationship reached a new level - Sheldon puts Amy as his emergency contact number at work. To normal people, this might not seem like a massive deal, but Amy goes nuts and it made for a very humorous few minutes of television all the same. We're wondering how their relationship can progress from here - in The Spoiler Alert Segmentation episode, the show's writers approach the possibility of the pair moving in together for a few moments, but the idea is quickly dashed when Sheldon rejects the very thought of it and Penny is equally as perturbed about the idea of Leonard moving out and into her place (but more on that later). We think it'd be a great idea if Sheldon and Amy moved in together - the show's characters appear to be reaching new levels of maturity, with Howard getting married and going into outer space and Leonard and Penny's relationship heating up, it seems like the next logical step to make for Sheldon's character arch considering he is the only one out of the group who has never been serious with someone.
