2. Raj's Sexuality
Raj's sexuality has been a running joke in the series' run so far, and a lack of a long-term partner has often led to viewers, and characters on screen, to openly question his sexuality. Leonard's mother, for instance, observes that he has "latent homosexual feelings" for Howard, despite the latter being straight (and in a relationship with Bernadette). The show's writers however have often made light of Raj's close relationship with Howard, as Raj's mother once noted "the closest thing we have to a daughter-in-law is that Jewish boy Howard!" In the series 4 finale however, Raj and Penny get drunk and end up in bed together, whilst Raj has had relationships with women in the past despite his inability to speak to them without being inebriated at times. At the same time, however, Raj appears to have a close relationship with Stuart, the comic book store owner, and Raj even ends up asking Stu on a date in the
Date Night Variable" episode of the show. It's easy to see that Raj has a "confused" sexual identity and we believe the show's writers should clear this up one way or the other.
