1. Season 7 And Beyond: Preparing For The Future
To be sure, The Big Bang Theory has lasted much longer than any studio executives probably ever thought it would. And aside from that, it continues to be the highest rated and most watched show on television on the day it airs, and it's reruns on CBS and also in syndication on TBS and FOX are some of the highest rated and most watched episodes for both of those television stations. However, discussions will certainly begin soon, if they haven't already, about the inevitable exit strategy for our beloved show. We can expect the seeds for a final season to start being planted now, and one could expect the show will likely see just a few more seasons before calling it a series. That being said, we still have a long way to go and a ton of ground to cover before we get there. Do the Wolowitz's have a child, and is it Jewish? Will Amy and Sheldon take their relationship to the next level, or even further? Will Penny and Leonard give us the standard, but emotional, television wedding episode we all expect to see from them? And what of Raj, will he ever find true love? And what about the Nobel committee's complete disregard for Sheldon Cooper's genius? Fans, it's almost time.
