6. Mayim Bialik - Amy Farrah Fowler
Out of the main cast, Amy Farrah Fowler's portrayer Mayim Bialik is the only cast member with an actual doctorate away from The Big Bang Theory, graduating from the University of California with a doctorate in neuroscience. She got her start in acting at a young age, becoming famous through her role in Blossom, which she debuted in at the age of 14.
Bialik appeared in a number of smaller roles while TBBT was still on-air, featuring roles on Ninja's World and Star vs. The Forces of Evil. However, at the time of writing, Mayim is yet to officially return to television since she and Sheldon earned their Nobel Prizes, although she has been announced for two upcoming roles. Both The Inspector Chronicles and Call Me Kat will star Bialik, the second of which will see her star as the lead character, and also serve as an executive producer.
In addition to her acting, Mayim is also the director of the drama As Sick As They Made Us, which is set for a 20 October release. Mayim's skills have even transferred over to the world of video games, as she starred as herself in Borderlands 3, which came out last September.
