The Big Bang Theory is one of the most popular sitcoms of recent times. Filled with nerdy scientific humour and a group of iconic nerds, the show has managed to establish itself at the centre of modern sitcom television.
From Sheldon to Penny, each character had a unique trait, and out of the leading ensemble of characters, Raj Koothrappali was by far one of the quirkiest, which doesn't say all too much, really. Still, the Caltech astrophysicist dished out some memorable moments throughout the show's history, often being at the tail-end of jokes and running gags.
The show perfectly captured layers to Raj's character as he watched all his friends settle down while struggling with loneliness, heartbreaks and social anxiety. At one point on the show, his failed date with yet another girl pushed him into a downward spiral, and the worrying Howard and Bernadette gifted a dog (Cinnamon) to Raj.
The little Yorkshire Terrier became Raj's child/girlfriend, and as Raj's sensitive, kind, caring and equal parts creepy love for Cinnamon intensified even after he got a girlfriend (Emily), Howard came up with a hilarious game called Emily Or Cinnamon to mock his best friend.
