In The Big Bang Theory, there are three women who form an unlikely friendship: Penny, Amy and Bernadette.

Bernadette is a confident, microbiologist, Amy a neurobiologist who grew up without many friends, and then there's Penny, the popular actor who was never interested in science.

Though the trio would never have normally hung out together, they form a strong friendship. From dressing up as princesses at Disneyland, to being involved in each other's wedding, Penny, Amy and Bernadette are in each other's lives through thick and thin.
