2007 brought us The Big Bang Theory, which revolved around the lives of five main characters who were friends and neighbours. The focus of the show was initially the friendship between Leonard and Sheldon, who both worked and lived together. However, everything changed when a pretty young actress moved in across the hall and became part of their circle.

Two people in particular had a unique and underrated friendship: Sheldon and Penny. Fans fell in love with their dynamic friendship that is very rare to find. Even though they were completely opposite, they shared a very special bond.

Sheldon was a bona fide and self-professed geek who loved physics, science, comic books, Star Wars, and Star Trek. He paid no attention to other pop culture, partying or drinking. Penny on the other hand was a party girl who had the wine flowing every night, she cared about how she looked and didn't know anything about comics. Moreover, she didn’t know the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek — and frankly, she didn't care.

But as they say, opposites attract even when it comes to friendships. While Sheldon admired Penny for being so free-willed and her ability to live without any anxiety, she mutually admired his intellect and self-confidence.

Now, let’s see if you can separate these two crazy neighbours by their quotes alone.
