The Book Of Boba Fett: 10 Things You Missed

1. The Star Wars Holiday Special Is Canon Now - Chapter 3

The Book of Boba Fett
Lucasfilm

After Boba Fett is gifted with a rancor, he tells the creature's keeper that desires to ride it. When the keeper acts skeptical, Boba informs him he's "ridden beasts ten times its size".

Now, most viewers assumed Boba made this claim just to highlight what a badass he is. But anyone who had the misfortune to watch The Star Wars Holiday Special knows the legendary bounty hunter isn't exaggerating. This TV special may be the worst thing to come out of George Lucas' mind but at least the animated segment with Boba Fett is watchable. (I mean... It's still not good but it's definitely better than the rest of this travesty.)

When Boba first appears, he is riding a gigantic sauropod called an Ichthyodont. Since he has no trouble mounting this colossal creature, you can see why he was so sure he could ride a rancor.

Although Boba's line is a nice callback, there is one problem. The Star Wars Holiday Special is so bad, most fans refuse to acknowledge its existence. But because Boba references the events in the Holiday Special, it's now a part of Star Wars canon... forever.
