Much like The Mandalorian did so spellbindingly, The Book of Boba Fett feels absolutely like classic Star Wars.

Whether it's the vast deserts of Tatooine, the vibrancy of Mos Espa, the Max Rebo Band, and even the climactic battle with a six-limbed sand beast, this first episode just got it when it comes to pulling on the heartstrings of those who've grown up in a galaxy far, far away.

Given how so much of The Book of Boba Fett is delivered in a physical, practical way where it pertains to SFX, Stranger in a Strange Land just has that special tangible to it that harkens back to the period in which the show is set - that time shortly after Return of the Jedi.

In this one episode alone, The Book of Boba Fett feels like a perfect fit to slide in alongside the original Holy Trilogy of Star Wars pictures. Now, with Easter eggs galore, nods and winks aplenty, and long-standing questions answered, it's down to The Book of Boba Fett to drive forward its present-day narrative while likewise paying tribute to what has gone before.
