The Book Of Boba Fett Review: 8 Ups & 1 Down For Chapter 1: 'Stranger In A Strange Land'

2. Fennec Shand Takes The Spotlight

Admittedly, during the initial battle between Fennec Shand, Boba Fett and their mystery attackers, Shand didn't fare all that well. Whilst Boba put up a little more resistance, Fennec just seemed to be somewhat schooled by these assassins.

Thankfully, Shand got to fully take centre-stage once this fight started to conclude, scaling a building to go after two assassins, getting the better of both of these attackers, booting one off said building, then taking the other assassin captive so that she and Fett can ask some serious questions in the next episode.

This was just enough physicality to show how badass Fennec Shand can be, and it's hopefully just the tip of the iceberg for what action Ming-Na Wen's character will be getting herself involved in throughout the rest of this season.

Added to that, Shand was shown to not merely nod and agree with all of Boba's ideas, with her questioning him several times during this debut episode - which in itself throws up plenty of intrigue.
